“In an attempt to get our mate Paul to ride egg boards , I made a “Pig egg” with a much shorter nose and length than our regular eggs. This one was sampled and he’d been riding them for almost a year now. (The summer catalog cover last year has a photo of Paul skating one doing a blunt stalefish).

I’d sketched out quite a few pig x egg graphic concepts, but nothing was hitting, I even asked @lucas_blackarms to help me out and pitch some and a couple of other people but nothing they sent jumped out at me as being the right concept for the pig egg. The more I thought about it and the more I skate with Paul and saw him skate this board I was like “we could just call it Paul’s egg”. At that point the whole thing made sense, and that way Paul gets a royalty too, so everyone wins.

This one’s a winner for sure, I’ve had lots of people tag me and comment and say that it’s their favorite board right now, a lad came up to me with one at G park and told me that just last week. Someone DM’d me that just now and that’s what prompted me to make this post. In Skateshops now, our full catalog drops May 2nd and they will be on our site then, but we always want to give the stores a chance to sell them first.”
