Pantheon Ember Classic 34″ — LDP
The Pantheon Ember Classic is back! Many riders know and love this board already and can skip this paragraph. For those who have yet to get acquainted, the Ember is a top of the line commuter board designed around 149mm TKP trucks. Compared to a board like the Pranayama, the Ember sacrifices some of the low-ness and instead shaves some heft and adds a tail. The platform is slightly smaller than the Pranayama, but similar enough that if you can ride one, you can ride the other. The width gets cut down a meaningful half inch and puts the widest part of the deck at the center in the “belly” of the board. The ends of the standing platform are closer to 8 inches in width. This makes the board feel notably smaller and it will suit smaller riders, women and children, and people who just want a commuter deck that feels small–like a mini cruiser but way easier to push around.
The Ember is sexy and curved with care. It screams style, and we’ve got four styles of Embers to fit whatever your needs may be on the road.
Please note: do not set this board up RKP-style longboard trucks. The Ember is built for street trucks only, and putting the wrong setup on this board will cause wheel bite. If you’re going to put this together yourself, be sure you pay attention to our available options here and set it up very similarly, and you’re assured to have a uniquely awesome riding experience.
Schlüssel-Features in Kürze
The Pantheon Ember Classic mimics the original design with a pointy nose that makes you feel like you’re going somewhere and a much more usable kicktail than the previous models–even moreso than the Summit Series Ember, as the new one has more curvature and flick at the end. The Classic features the Yggdrasil graphic that so many have come to associate with this board.
The Ember has been a staple in the Pantheon lineup since around 2017. It has existed in multiple forms, and this newest form pulls from the original mold shape with some slight modifications, bringing the lines together in a more aesthetic fashion and adding extra kick on the kicktail. And we built it with a construction that will be stronger over time. The new construction fixes some of the long-term issues with the old Ember by introducing fiberglass into the layup, strengthening the board and mostly eliminating warpage over time.
